2016……Happy New Year

As Martin and I laid in bed this morning reflecting back over the years. We remembered the births of our children. All the different places we lived. We seemed to have moved a lot till we moved to Arizona in 1995.  The adjustment seem so easy.

Now we look ahead to what this year brings and it is so exciting and scary at the same time.

It starts off with me finishing my jobs scheduled on my calendar. Then the next step to building is the metal roof installation. This has to happen in February so fingers crossed for warmer weather. Depending on my clients needs we could be up in New Mexico for 2-3 weeks.

Back to Arizona in March. More work to complete. During this time it’s more purging and cleaning up our home getting ready to put it in the market. Few repairs here and there.

Watch out May!  Back up to the build site. This is when the transformation will happen. Window wall will take shape. Green house Windows will be installed. And then my sewing studio build out will happen. We just can’t move till this is completed.
We hope during this time the house will sell. And then it will be time to say goodbye to a great city. Even if the rest of the house is not complete. We can live in the Moho till we do get it done.

It is going to be a tuff year but a very rewarding year. I guess what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. Right?  You know if you think of the life cycle, it truly is correct that the decisions you make today dictates how you will live your life tomorrow.  We hope to live a much quieter life. Slower paced. Fresh air and less stress. Live more with homemade foods. Fresh and home grown.

Well today that slow pace is on hold for now as we venture out to the crowds to cheer on ASU in the Cactus Bowl. Go Devils.

Till next time…..

Joyce
